LOCATION HISTORY
The property of B&B Governo dei Nove is located in the heart of the historic center of Siena. Is located on the second floor, inside an Ancient Noble Palace of Medieval origin, part of which dates back to the year 1100. Testifying these ancient origins is an ancient Tower (present in the three rooms named: "La Torre", Le Mura", "La Rocca") and the Coat of Arms of the noble “Feroni” family, dating back to 1600, placed on the facade of the palace, along Via Camollia.
Elegantly renovated, respecting the preexisting materials and the original structure, furnished with attention to detail and with a modern and functional design, it is equipped with the most innovative home automation technologies and the best comforts, to offer to our kind guests an exclusive vacation and stay.

The B&B overlooks Via Camollia, along the first urban stretch of the Via Francigena, the Longobard road traveled in the Middle Ages by pilgrims and wayfarers heading to St. Peter's in Rome. The pilgrims, entering from Porta Camollia, located in the northern part of the city, would stop at the Complex of Santa Maria della Scala in front of the cathedral, and then head towards Porta Romana, in the direction of Rome. From here you can easily reach the major points of interest of the city in just a few minutes!
It will be possible to organize guided tours to get to know and discover Siena and its province with its splendid enchanted corners, in the magnificent setting of the Tuscan countryside.
